After 2 months, finally I'm back to my Fairy Tale..Hehe..

Last Saturday I went to Genting Highlands with my best best hometown friends and Jimmy..This is our first trip with all the best best friends - 6 princesses (Mangga, Ying Ying, Ngan Mei, Wai Mei, Mieu Leng & Me)..And with 3 princes - Choy, Yi Hao & Jimmy..

We are really enjoy and happy during this trip..A super fulled, super noisy, and super funny trip..Hehe..Besides, All of them gave a very special gift to Jimmy and I as our ROM's present..We love it very much..Hehe..

Last Wednesday I celebrated my mum birthday at Restaurant 1919..This is my second time to visit here..Hehe..I like the interior decorations of this restaurant..They have a lot of old ornaments..

After went through the menu, we ordered Philippine Egg Plant, Broccoli With Scallop, Claypot Taufu, Curry Fish Head and Butter Soft Crab..

The food is nice..My parents and Jimmy gave good comments for the food and services..Hehe..After eat, they had off the light and presented a Birthday Song for my mum with the Birthday cake that I bought..Hehe..My mum is very happy and surprise..Hehe..

Then we took photos by using my "Little White" (Fujifilm Instax Mini 7s)..Hehe..Parents and BB are very happy and excited with the photoshooting..Hehe..Total expenses for 5 of us is RM99.40 included 6% government tax..

Last Sunday Jimmy and I went to "New Town" at Ipoh to eat "Hakka Mee"..This restaurant is quite famous with "Hakka Mee" and Beef Soup..After this restuarant moved to new location (beside All-In Cafe), it is my first time to visit here..Hehe..

We ordered 2 single Hakka Mee (RM1.70/single Mee), 6 pieces of Yong Taufu (RM0.60 per piece) and 1 Lao Su Fun (RM1.70 per plate)..

The food is really nice..Hehe..I like it very much..Hehe..

Today Jimmy and I went to Kedai Kopi Ban Mee which located at Desa Rishah Ipoh to have our lunch..The Chinese name of this restaurant is quite special..It is "Guai Lou" Ban Mee..

They have few types of Ban Mee which are Traditional, Pumpkin, Yam and Parsley..We ordered 2 bowls of Traditional Ban Mee (RM3.40), 4 pieces of Yong Taufu (RM0.50 - RM0.70 per piece) and 2 glassed of Coffee Ice (RM1.60 per glass)..

The food is nice..The mee is very smooth..Next visit I will try the Pumpkin Ban Mee..Hehe..

Last Saturday Jimmy and I went to O Place to have our lunch..We visited this place last month..Just check out my First Visit..Hehe..

Jimmy took set lunch which is Thai Sauce Chicken Rice with Coffee Ice (RM8.90) and I ordered Butter Toast (RM2.80) and White Coffee O Cold (RM3)..Besides, we ordered Karaage Chicken (RM3.90) as our side order.. The food are nice..But the drinks are quite sweet for us..:)

Cameron Highlands...2nd Anniversary Celebration Trip

Jimmy and I had a 2D1N Cameron Highlands trip to celebrate our 2nd Anniversary..Hehe..A really relaxing trip we had..We went to Cameron Highlands by AFU around 9.30am..

Our first destination is Boh Tea Centre at Sungai Palas..I was quite excited as finally I could visit here with Jimmy..Hehe..The weather was quite nice and the wind very strong..We walked to Boh Tea Showroom to take photos..After that, we had a drink at the Boh Tea Cafe..We ordered Mushroom Soup with Bread (RM5), Mango Tea with teabag (RM3) and Boh Ice Blackcurrant Tea (RM3.50)..No extra charges they collect..After our drinks, we had our photoshooting again..Hehe..For more photos, please kindly visit abbiegraphy..

Then we head to Cactus plantation..Hehe..Again, for our photos of flowers, please check out at abbiegraphy..Hehe..

We took our light lunch at KFC at Brinchang as we are still full..Hehe..After that, we approached to our accommodation - Century Pines Resort at Tanah Rata..I booked this hotel through Agoda..The outlook of this hotel is quite grand and nice..It is quite comfortable and relax over here..

Our room is superior room..The room is quite big and there is a balcony which has a garden view..However, some marks had been deducted for the room cleanliness as there are some stains over the blanket and toilet..Other than that, all is acceptable..

After a rest, we went to Night Market at Brinchang at 6.30pm..We just had a walk first before we took our dinner..Hehe..We chose Restaurant OK Tuck to have our steamboat dinner..The steamboat price is RM17 per pax..If 3 persons above, it is RM15 per pax..For drinks, we chose Chinese Tea Pot (RM3)..The food is normal and acceptable..However, the prawns are not fresh yet spoilt..Again, marks deducted for the spoilt prawns..

Both of us were very full so we chose to walk at Night Market again..Hehe..We bought some snacks to eat at Hotel..After walk, we went to a "Hairpin Curve" to take photos..Hehe..

Then we went to Starbucks which near to our hotel to have a drink..I ordered hot Mocha with milk (RM12.95)..12 bucks for a coffee..It is quite expensive..But once in a blue moon, it is still acceptable for me..Hehe..After that, we went back to hotel and rest..

The next morning, we took our breakfast at Hotel Coffee House..The food is accpetable..Hehe..Then we checked out and head to Kea Farm and Bee's Farm..We bought some souvenirs over there..

Then we came to Restaurant Lai Fatt to have lunch before we went back to Ipoh..We visited this restaurant last year with colleagues..We ordered vegetables (RM5), Pumpkin Spareribs (RM15) and Lai Fatt Taufu (RM11)..The food is normal only..

After lunch, we went back to Ipoh..Hehe..

Last Saturday Jimmy and I had a walk at Ipoh Parade..We came to Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks to have our lunch..

They have limited tables for dine-in..Normally people choose to take away..Hehe..Jimmy and I queued up to order..We ordered XXL Crispy Chicken (RM6) and Ricebox Set (RM10)..The Ricebox Set included one drink which is V-Soy Soya Bean..

For the XXL Crispy Chicken, it is really big portion..And it is yummy too!! For the Ricebox Set, it is quite nice also..Hehe..I like the Soya Bean very much..Hehe..

Last Sunday Jimmy and I had a late lunch at O Place..A white building which located opposite of Yeolde English in Greentown..The place is quite comfortable and relax..Hehe..

After went through the menu, Jimmy ordered Terikayi Chicken Chop (RM12.90) and Ice Blue Berry Tea (RM3.80)..I took Saba Shioyaki & Teriyaki Chicken Bento (RM14.90) and White Coffee Cold (RM3.30)..Besides, we have ordered one snack - Fried Scallop (RM3.90)..

Personally, the food is nice..Hehe..For the coleslaw, it is really fresh..I gave extra marks for the fresh coleslaw..Hehe..They collect 10% service charge for the meal and no governmnet charge..For me, 10% is too much..:)

Last 2 weeks, Jimmy and I had a walk at Ipoh Parade..We found this new eating place - Rocusa which provides Taiwanese food..Overall, the place is clean and nice..

To make order is self service..We have to queue up then make our order and pay..Food will be served then..Jimmy ordered Chicken Mee Soup (RM6) and I took Peanut Snow Ice (RM6)..They have no service charge and government tax..

For the Chicken Mee Soup, Jimmy commented that the soup is taste-less..Just like plain water..For the Peanut Snow Ice, it is quite special and nice..The shape of ice is looks like a mee..Hehe..However, RM6 per bowl is not cheap for me..Anyway, it is a nice try over here..

It is a newly launched mid-range smart phone if compared to IPhone 4..However, it's based on the latest Android 2.2 (Froyo)..Hehe..As it is my first time to use a touch screen as well as smart phone, I need some times to dig on it..Hehe..

Last night I brought my parents, BB and Jimmy to Wong Kok Char Chan Teng to celebrate my Dad's birthday in advance..Hehe..They have a promotion for Birthday Celebration which is Free Giant Hong Kong Ice Milk Tea..Hehe..

I went there last August..Frankly, they gave me a bad image..For those who would like to read my first visit, here is it - First Visit..However, I decided to give them a second chance..Maybe they have improved about their services..

After entered, we got our table..I asked one of the waitress about the Birthday Free Gift, she explained to me nicely and recorded my Dad's IC number..After that, we started to browse the menu..Hehe..After a long browse, finally we decided our meal..

Jimmy called a waitress to take our order..She served us with a "Smile-less Face"..Besides, she requested to check the IC again..We were not happy with her request..How many times they want to verify? Is it everytime there is a different waitress serve us, we have to show them the IC? Was this so called service?

Frankly, the food over here are quite acceptable and nice..Nevertheless, some of the waitress/waiters' service are really BAD..This is our LAST TIME to visit here..NO MORE CHANCE will give them..

This time I would like to introduce some Ipoh Famous And Delicious Food..Hehe..I highly recommend them to my readers..Hehe..

Firstly, it is Funny Mountain Tau Fu Fah..It has a manual "Drive Thru"..Hehe..Just like McD, you can drive through and wait to be served..There will be a staff approaches to your car and take your order..This shop is famous about Tau Fu Fah..Normally I will order "Bak Bak" (white-white) which is Tau Fu Fah serves with Soya Bean..The hot Tau Fu Fah serves with cold Soya Bean, it is really special and delicious..Hehe..

Second, I would like to introduce Restaurant Ma Chai which famous with Chee Cheong Fun..It is located at Menglembu..There are a lot of side dishes that you can choose for your Chee Cheong Fun, such as Curry Chicken, Curry Pork, Curry Pig Skin and so on..It is really nice..The price range is from RM2 to RM5..Hehe..

After that, I accidentally found that there is one cendol opposite Maybank Menglembu - Jaya Cendol which is The Best In Menglembu (I saw the banner)..I ordered one Cendol Pulut (RM1.90)..Personally, it is nice..Hehe..

2D1N Penang Relaxing Trip 2011..

Last Friday Jimmy and I had a 2D1N Penang relaxing trip..We planned to go Penang as we would like to check out the Kek Lok Si Light's Up 2011..Hehe..

We went there about 2.30pm..We chose to take Ferry as it is nearer to our accommodation - Hotel Continental which located at Jalan Penang..However, we had a long wait at Ferry because one of the Penang Ferry Terminal was under construction..Well, it did not spoil our mood at all..Hehe..

After checked in Hotel Continental, we took a rest for our next programme - Kek Lok Si Light's Up photoshooting..Hehe..For the accommodation, both of us are quite satisfied..It is clean and neat..Our package included 2 buffet breakfast..Although the choices of food are limited, it is still acceptable..Hehe..Nevertheless, the only thing that they have to improve is their way of services..The staffs who work at the Lobby should be more friendly and willing to help..The time when I checked in and out, the staffs who served me with a "Smile-less Face"..Besides, I did not receive any resit for my accommodation..They told me that it does not have any resit if I buy the package through Air-Asia..What a good excuse!!

About 6.30pm, we head to Kek Lok Si..We did not see any crowded people over there..We tried to find a good place to take the whole view of Kek Lok Si..Finally, we got it..Hehe..For our photos, please kindly visit my abbiegraphy..The Kek Lok Si Light's Up is really nice..Hehe..However, we could not observed the Kuan Yin Statue Light's Up as it only opened until 15th day of Chinese New Year..Well, Jimmy and I still had a great time over there..Hehe..After that, we took our late dinner at Ayer Itam..The food is normal yet acceptable..Hehe..Then we went back our Hotel and rest..

The next day, we took our breakfast at Hotel..Jimmy quite satisfied with the breakfast..Hehe..After that, we head to Reclining Buddha Temple (Wat Chayamangkalaram) and Dhammikarama Burmese Temple which nearby Gurney Drive..For more photos, please kindly visit my abbiegraphy..Hehe..

After checked out Hotel, we went to The Snake Temple..All the snakes are resting/sleeping..I wondered that do they take sleeping pill..Hehe..Then we left Penang..We went to Bukit Tambun to have lunch..We came to HoHo Food World which located near to a river..The food and service are quite nice..

Finally I'm free to continue my KL Shopping Spree experiences..Hehe..Two weeks ago, my hometown friends and I went to One Utama for shopping..Supposed we would like to have dinner at Chili's..However, we got a smoking area table and it was really smelly..Thus we decided to have our dinner at T.G.I Friday's..

Once entered T.G.I Friday's, I was impressed as the waiters served us warmth and lovingly if compared to Chili's, Chili's supposed to have their people skills..Unfortunately, they lack of that..

Our tourist guide Choy and Mangga decided our food while Ying Ying engaged to call and I was busy to snap around..Hehe..He ordered an Appetizer - Friday's Three For All (RM36.90), Friday's Shrimp (RM29.90), Chicken Fingers (RM23.90) and Tuscan Chicken Melt Crispy Fries(RM19.90)..For beverage, he took refillable Pepsi (RM8.90), Mangga chose Large Apple Juice (RM8.90), Ying Ying ordered 100% Tropicana Orange Juice (RM9.90) and I took warm water..

For the Appetizer - Friday's Three For All..It has Friday's most famous appetizers which are Loaded Potato Skins, Fried Mozzarella and Spicy Buffalo Wings, served with sour cream and green onions, marinara sauce and celery sticks with Bleu Cheese dressing..It is really special and big enough for us..However, Mangga and I felt that this whole platter food too sour for us..

For Friday's Shrimp, Chicken Fingers and Tuscan Chicken Melt Crispy Fries, all of us love them very much..Hehe..They are special and delicious..Hehe..All these foods are big enough for all of us to share..At the end, all of us fulled with "Friday's"..Hehe..They are collecting 6% government tax and 10% service charge..

Last Saturday Ying Ying, Mangga and I went to KL for shopping..Our tourist guide Choy had well-planned the whole day program for us..Thanks for his effort..

We had our lunch at Nando's @ One Utama Shopping Mall..We had a bad experience over there..The waiters kept on making wrong orders..However, it did not spoil our feelings..

We had ordered Peri Kick Starter (RM28.90) while waiting for Anthony to join us..Hehe..This starter served with 3 pieces of Chicken Wings, 4 Mini Kebabs, 1 Grilled Chicken Sausage, 1 Novo Pita, 4 Fresh Cucumber with Creamy Peri Dip..All of us took Bottomless Soft Drinks (RM5.50) as our drinks..For the main course, all of us chose 1/4 Chicken with 2 Sidelines (RM14.50)..For the sidelines, I chose Mediterranean Rice and Peri Chips..Besides, I took Mild Peri-Peri for my Chicken sauce..Hehe..

Overall the food is tasty and big portion..It is a good try at Nando's..Hehe..However, they have to improve their services..

Ab's Cooking Journey...Part 28...~Christmas Cupcakes~

We (Mangga, Wai Mei, Jimmy and I) celebrated Ying Ying's Birthday yesterday..I made cupcakes again for her birthday celebration..Supposed I would like to make easy decorations by frosting the cupcakes like a Christmas Tree..However, my homemade Buttercream Icing was failed as it had a taste of "fridge"..It is because the butter that I used had been stored in the fridge for long time..Haiz..

Eventually I went to cake shop to buy some toppers for my cupcakes decorations..Finally I bought toppers which included Christmas Tree, Santa Claus, Snowman, Bells, Reindeer and Christmas Angel..They are Royal Sugar which are eatable..Hehe..It is really cute..Hehe..

After went home, I decorated my cupcakes by putting all these 3D Royal Sugar..The result is really nice and colorful..I can feel the Christmas atmoshpere..Hehe.."We Wish You A Merry Christmas..."!!!

Last Saturday my family, Jimmy and I went to Cocooon Dining to have dinner..I know about this cafe from one of my favourite food blog - Motormouth..

The interior of this cafe quite nice..It is neat and clean..The decoration of the light, design of wallpaper, dining table and cushion, all is matching with each other..Giving me a comfortable and relax feelings..

After went through the menu, Jimmy told me that all the prices are in Dollar($) instead of Ringgit Malaysia (RM)..Hehe..Of course, it is a joke from him..Nevertheless, they should list as RM instead of $ as it is one of the rules of business..:)

Before we ordered, the waitress served us sky juice..The sky juice is free..Hehe..I ordered BBQ Chicken (RM15.90), Cheesy Garlic Bread (RM4.90) and Clams Chowder (RM6.90)..Jimmy recommended Clams Chowder to me as he had eaten at US before..Hehe..Dad took Lamb Shoulder (RM18.90) whereas BB took Fish & Chip (RM11.90) and Orange Juice (5.90)..Mum as usual does not want to order..Hehe..We ordered Green Tea (RM3.90) for her..

Overall, all the food is acceptable and big portion..For my BBQ Chicken, it is normal as roastered chicken..:) For the Clams Chowder, it is really nice..:) BB and I love it very much..Dad commented that the Lamb Shoulder is normal yet acceptable..

For the Green Tea, I had misunderstood ..I thought that it serves with a pot instead of a glass..:) RM3.90 for a small glass of Green Tea, it is quite expensive for me..

Total expenses for that night is RM71.70..With a 5% of service charge..The services here is quite good..For me, 5% is acceptable..:)

Ab's Cooking Journey...Part 27...~Spaghetti Bolognese & Mushroom Soup~

Last Saturday, I decided to cook Spaghetti Bolognese for my lovely Jimmy as lunch..Hehe..The night before Jimmy accompanied me to Tesco to buy ingredients..I was quite excited as this is my second time to prepare lunch for him..Recalled my first time, it was messy yet happy..Hehe..

Firstly, I prepared the appetizer - Pastry Mushroom Soup..I took the recipe from one of my favorite blog..Hehe..I opened the Campbell's Mushroom Soup, cooked it with 1 can of water until boiled..After that, I poured the soup into 2 bowls and used pastry to cover the bowls..The step of using pastry to cover the bowl is very hard for me..I have spoilt 2 pastries when I am stretching it..Hehe..Before cover with pastry, I brushed some egg yolk around the mouth of bowl..Then baked at 160°C for 10 minutes..After 10 minutes, I took out from oven and washed the pastry with egg yolk and baked for another 10 minutes..

While waiting for the soup to be done, I started to cook Spaghetti..My mum helped me to cut the chicken meat into small pieces early in the morning as I don't dare to touch raw meat..Hehe..Thanks to my lovely mum..I cut 2 pieces of Black Pepper Chicken Frankfurter and Broccoli into small slices..

After that, I heated oil in the wok..Firstly, I cooked chicken meat until it is almost done then I added on Swallow Mushroom and Chicken Frankfurter..I cooked until all is well done..At this moment, I added the Spaghetti Tomato Sauce , Water, Cheese and simmered for 5 minutes..

Next, I boiled one bowl of water..When the water is boiled, I put the spaghetti and boiled until it became soft..After spaghetti is ready, I washed it with "cold water" and added some cooked oil into it so that it will not stick together..Again, I boiled one bowl of water to cook the Broccoli..After cooked, the color of Broccoli is so greenly..Hehe..Looked like very delicious..Hehe..

Finally, I prepared Milo Ice whereas Jimmy was so busy to take photos..Hehe..He served all the food nicely into the plates..Suddenly he told me that something had been left out..I wondered what actually we had left out? He told me that we left out candles as this is our "Candle Light Lunch"..Hahaha..How funny he is!!

At last, we started our lunch..We tasted Pastry Mushroom Soup..It is really special and yummy yet abit salty..I think that it is because I added a piece of cheese into the soup..Hehe..For the main course - Spaghetti Bolognese, it is delicious..The softness of Spaghetti is just "ngam ngam" soft..Hehe..However, the tomato sauce abit sour..If served it together with spaghetti, it is just nice..Hehe..

I quite satisfied with my mission this time..It is "Mission Impossible" for me..As I am not a good cooker at all in terms of dishes..Well, I will give myself 8 out of 10..Hehe..

Jimmy, how many marks should I get? Hehehe..Just minus out my action of "HuHuHu"..I think I still can get more than 5, right? Hahaha..

Ab's Cooking Journey...Part 26...~Abbie-Licious Special Cupcakes~

Last Saturday I decided to make cupcakes for my best friends..Especially for Ngan Mei as all of my best friends will celebrate her birthday on the next day..Unfortunately, I could not attend the birthday party as my relatives will visit my family on the same day..I hope that they like my homemade cupcakes..Hehe..

I used all-in-one vanilla sponge cake flour for my cupcakes..I put a slice of banana as the topping..Besides, I decorated with melted chocolate as topping too..I tried to bake 3 cupcakes for the first trial..I put them into oven for 10 minutes and took out..At this moment, I added the banana sliced on top of the cupcakes and bake again..The outlook is really nice and yummy..

For the second bake, I tried to add the banana sliced with the mixture before bake at all..I quite disappointed because the banana sliced had been covered by the cupcakes after baked..No more banana sliced as topping for my second bake..:(

For the rest, I practiced as my first trial..Hehe..All had been successfully baked..Total I had baked 23 cupcakes..I have tried my homemade cupcakes..It is really soft, nice and delicious..Hehe..I was so satisfied with my result..Hehe..

Last Friday Jimmy and I went for shopping..Accidentally, we bought a lens for my Big Head Prawn..Hehe..We would like to own this lens for awhile ago..Finally we could get it with a reasonable price in Ipoh..What lens it is?? Today I tried to bake Nutty Snap..The procedures to bake Nutty Snap are simple and easy..Hehe..For my first bake, it is totally failed..Why I said so? It is because all the Nutty Snap had been over-burned..Luckily, I anticipated that this will happen..Thus, I just put small portion of the mixture to get the correct baking temperature..Hehe..

For the rest, I successfully to bake my homemade Nutty Snap..Hehe..It is crispy and yummy..My Nutty Snap is quite chewy as I have put some flaked almonds and pumpkin seeds into it..Hehe..

Today I went back home earlier..Hehe..As I want to bake Coffee Flower..

I bought all the ingredients last Saturday..Unfortunately, I did not have time to bake last weekend..so I decided to bake today..The procedures of making Coffee Flower are very simple and easy..However, there is a step which I felt that quite tough..That is put the dough in the star-shaped nozzle and pipe it out..It is very difficult to pipe it out..Jimmy taught me a way..I will try it out next time..Hehe..

Before bake, the shapes of my cookies are look like flower..Nevertheless, after baked, it had became a flat flower..Although the taste is nice, I a bit disappointed about the outlook..

Anyway, I took this as a lesson learn..Hehe..Next bake will be better..Hehe..

Last Wednesday, Jimmy suggested a recipe to me..That is Honey Treats aka Corn Flakes In Cup..After look through the recipe, I decided to bake it today..Hehe..

Early morning, I went to Tesco Extra to buy ingredients..After that, I started my cooking journey..Hehe..The procedures to prepare this Honey Treats are very simple and easy..Unfortunately, for the first bake, some of Honey Treats had been over-baked..Thus, I reduced the baking temperature from 160°C to 100°C for 5 minutes..

The result is quite good..Jimmy commented that it is crispy..Hehe..But, the sweetness is not enough..My mission considered successful..Hehe...

Last Saturday Jimmy and I went to Restaurant Nasi Ayam Hainan to have lunch..It is nearby the Yau Tet Shin Bazzar aka Pasar Bulat (Round/Circular Market)..

This restaurant had been renovated..After sat down, we saw a wireless pager on the table..There are 4 buttons with different functions..Besides, they provide free Wi-Fi..

We have ordered Roastered and Steamed Chicken (RM10/2 pax), Soup (RM4/pax), Plain Rice (RM1.30/plate) and Chinese Tea (RM0.50/glass)..For the food, it is quite okie..The price is slightly higher yet acceptable..Hehe..

Yesterday I looked through the fridge, I found that there is a butter left..So I decided to finish it today..Hehe..After went through the recipe book, I decided to bake Cheese Crunch..This is my second time to make this biscuit..I still remember my 50% successful of My First Homemade Cheese Crunch..Hehe..

This time I remembered to use fine sugar..The sugar is totally melted with the butter..Hehe..Besides, I shaped the mixture into round shape and pressed it with a fork..All these is the lesson learn from the First Time..

Last Saturday, it is my first time to order Domino's Pizza through online..It is simple, fast and easy..Hehe..First of all, I went to Domino's Pizza website..I registered as a member..They have GPS Tracker which keeps you up to date from the moment you place your order to the moment your pizza leaves the store..It is really professional..Hehe..

Pangkor Island 2D1N Relaxing & Surprising Trip...

Last Saturday Jimmy and I went to Pangkor Island for a 2D1N relaxing trip..Earlier I have google-ed about the places of interest and famous food in Pangkor Island..For accommodation, we booked Vikri Beach Resort..The review of this resort is quite good..Somemore, it is just located in front of the Pasir Bogak Beach (within 100m walking distance)..So both of us would like to have a try..

Early morning, we took our breakfast in Ipoh..Then we departed our journey at 8am..About 9am, we arrived Lumut..We parked our car at the Multi Storey Covered Car Park at Lumut..Personally, this car park is quite safe if compared to others outdoor car park as I could see there are guards at every level..The parking fee is RM10 for 24 hours..

After that, we walked to Lumut Jetty..On the way to jetty from Covered Car Park, there are covered pavement for visitor..If rainy day, visitors do not have to worry to get wet..Hehe..Within 5 minutes time, we arrived Lumut Jetty..There are 3 ferry counters which are Duta Pangkor, Pan Silver Ferry and Mesra Feri..We bought 9.45am ticket..The ticket to Pangkor Island is RM10 included return way..The ticket is valid for 1 month..When we entered terminal jetty, there is a Malay lady offered us motor rental service in Pangkor..We exchanged our phone number and we will straight away get our motor at Pangkor jetty..The rental fee is RM30..

After went up to ferry, we chose upstair seat..The interior of the ferry is quite narrow..Besides, the windows are quite dirty..Around 10.30am, ferry only departed..On the way to Pangkor Island, we could see The Malaysia Royal Navy on our left..There are many military ships..There is a balcony at the stern of the ferry..We can go out for a sea breeze blowing and photoshooting..Hehe..

Around 11am, we arrived at Jetty Pangkor..We could see the trademark of Pangkor Island - Giant One Malaysia right at the Jetty Pangkor..After we walked out from jetty, there are 2 rows of people queuing up at the main entrance..Jimmy and I thought that they are passengers..Unexpectedly, they are providing motor rental service..Hehe..It is really funny..

After that, we called up our motor rental agent..While waiting for him, we could see that a lot of motors parked at the jetty..Many of them have the key inserted..At the other side, there are a lot of Pinky Taxi (van)..Hehe..It is one of the trademark of Pangkor Island..After took our motor, we felt that the motor is quite bad condition and spoil..But, we just took it as a lesson..To my readers, I would recommend that rent a motor after you have seen it..Hehe..

After that, we went to feed our motor..There is a mini petrol station near Pangkor Town..We fed RM3 of petrol..Then we head to our resort..Hehe..On the way, we are quite excited and happy because it is our first time to ride motor..The feeling is really sweet..Hahaha!! I could not describe how happy am I..But it is really happy!! Hehe!!

Around 5 minutes, we arrived Vikri Beach Resort..It is just located beside the beach..The bosses of this resort are an Indian couple..They are quite friendly..After paid and got our key, we walked to our room..Our room is facing to the sea..Hehe..Our room rate is RM100..After added on the 5% government tax, total have to pay is RM105..

The interior of our room is quite simple, nice and clean..They have provided TV, soap, toilet paper, heater and air conditioner..However, the TV only showed one program which is Astro Box Office Indian Channel..For those who like to watch TV, it is quite suffer..Hehe..

After put down our bags, we went to Pangkor Town to have our lunch..We came to Chiang Seng Restaurant..We ordered 2 plates of Chicken Rice (RM4.50 per plate) and 2 Herbal Tea (RM1.20 per glass)..The chicken rice is quite famous..Many artists came to try before..Hehe..Although the price is a bit higher, the food is more than enough for one person..For the food, it is normal only..Hehe..

After this, we accidentally saw a Look Out Point Tower..I quite excited and went up to take a look at the sea..Hehe..We took a lot of photos at there..Then we head to Dutch Fort which located at Teluk Gedung..On the way, we saw Eng Seng Pangkor Food Industry and Trading..We dropped down to take a look..There are more choices at here if compared to Hai Seng Him..Hehe..

After that, we went back to our resort..We took a rest and head to Teluk Nipah Beach..Hehe..The road to Teluk Nipah is quite winding and there are a lot of steep hills..We have to be careful while going to Teluk Nipah from Pasir Bogak..When we reached Teluk Nipah, they are renovating along the beach..Eventually, it is not a right time to stay at Teluk Nipah at the moment as it is noisy and the beach is quite dirty..

We went to Lin Je Kong Temple..It is located opposite to the Giam Island..The Giam Island is famous for snorkeling..We took a lot of photos at here..Hehe..Of course, I be the model..Hehe..

We stayed there for almost one hour..Then we went back to our resort..After a bath, we walked to the beach..From Pasir Bogak, we could see the famous world class of Pangkor Laut Resort..It is just opposite to Pasir Bogak..We stayed at the beach till the sunset..Both of us observed the sunset at Pasir Bogak..It is really amazing and nice..Hehe..For more photos, please click HERE..

After that, we went to Pasir Bogak Restaurant which just opposite to the Coral Bay Resort..I knew about this restaurant through Cari Forum..Hehe..After went through the menu, we ordered Seafood Seaweed Soup (RM5), Homemade Taufu (RM8), Butter & Sugar Mantis Prawn (RM10), 2 plain rice (RM1 each) and 2 chinese tea (RM0.50 each)..For the food, it is yummy and big portion..It is really worth for money..Hehe..

After eat, we went back to our resort..Earlier, I planned to buy beer but finally we did not buy..Unexpectedly, Jimmy gave me a surprise..He brought a red wine and glasses..I was so surprise and excited..Hehe..Both of us enjoyed the red wine in front of our room..Hehe..We had a great time at there..We had a roomate during that night which is an unique Gecko..Hehe..Its skin is reddish white..We could clearly see its spot over the body..

The next morning, we went to Pangkor Town to have breakfast..The air is really fresh while we are going to Pangkor Town..Hehe..We came to one of the restaurant..I did not take the photo..Hehe..I ordered Seafood Bihun Soup (RM3.80) while Jimmy took "Smooth Egg River" (RM4.50)..For the drinks, I ordered coffee (RM1.30) and Jimmy took Herbal Tea (RM1.20)..The food is quite okie..Hehe..

After eat, we went back to resort to check out..When we reached jetty, we just parked the motor and left..Hehe..I think it is their business style..Then we went up ferry and left Pangkor Island..This time we did not sit..We went out to the balcony to take photos..Hehe..About 30 minutes, we reached Lumut Jetty..We walked to Multi Storey Parking to take our car..The fee is RM11.60 because we parked there more than 24 hours..Hehe..

Our 2D1N Pangkor Relaxing Trip had been finished happily..Hehe..Thanks to Jimmy for this trip and the surprises that you have done for me..Hehe!! It is really memorable..Can we visit Pangkor Island again?? :)

Today is 10.10.10..A date which only happens once in 100 years..Jimmy and I witnessed this special day at Pangkor Island..Hehe..

On this special day, I received a special gift from my lovely Jimmy..That is the second ring of The Four Rings in my life - Proposal Ring..I was so surprised and my emotion was totally out of control..I could not express my feeling by words at that moment..I just felt that I am the most happiest girl in the world..:)

Thanks to my lovely Jimmy for the ring..I wish that I can be with you forever!! Hehe!!

KTMB and ETS Train - Ipoh~KL Shuttle Train...

Last 2 weeks, Jimmy and I went to KL by train..This is our first time to ride the shuttle train from Ipoh to KL Central..I have called KTMB Call Centre (1300-88-5862) for advance ticket booking to avoid long queue at Ipoh Railway Station on Monday..After that, Jimmy went to collect the ticket after work at 7.30pm..However, the only Malay lady staff claimed that she will not provide service to those customer who came AFTER 7.30pm..The reason is their system very slow..After she handles all the tasks, it will be almost 8pm which is their rest time and of course she needs rest..

Jimmy does not like her behavior..There is a Malay guy who quickly apologized to Jimmy and asked Jimmy to visit on the next day..Jimmy went to collect on Tuesday, but he was told that the system down..And Jimmy went there on Wednesday, unfortunately, system down again..We are really disappointed with their service and system..Finally, we went there on Thursday..The final chance to collect the ticket because our journey on Friday..We are totally disappointed as we could not collect our ticket at the end..What we can do is buy the ticket on the spot when we ride the train..

On Friday, we reached Ipoh Railway Station early morning..There are quite many passengers..Jimmy bought the 9.15am ticket..Again, their system down, thus we could only get the hand-written ticket..We bought 2nd class (RM22) instead of economy class (RM12) as it had been sold out..

The interior of the train is normal..We could see that they did not maintain the train..It is quite dirty..We took back forward seat..In front of us, there is an LCD tv..But it is off all the while..The journey from Ipoh to KL Central takes about 3 hours..After reached KL Central, we went to buy the return ticket..We got the number of 3252 and have to wait for 26 customers..However, we only waited for 5 minutes and that is our turn..The fast action and well managed system in KL is pretty better than that of Ipoh..Should Ipoh Railway Station learn from them?

The economy class had been sold out for return ticket..We decided to ride ETS train (Electric Train Services)..This ETS train just launched on August of 2010..The journey from KL to Ipoh takes 2 hours only..Somemore, they are having ticket promotion which is RM30 from KL to Ipoh..Instead of taking the 3 hours normal train of RM22, we would like to try this new launched 2 hours train..Hehe..The staffs who work at ETS counter are really friendly and willing for help..I gave them a 4 stars out of 5 for the service..

Our train supposed arrived at 6.48pm..But it had been late for 10 minutes..When the train reached, all the passengers were rushed to go up the train..The train door will be closed in 1 minute time..The "train hostess" asked us to go up the train first then only get our seat..

This ETS train has 6 coaches (A, B, C, D E and F)..The interior of the train is very clean and nice..The seat cushions are new and clean..Again, we bought back forward seat..There is an LCD tv in front of us and it is functioning..It showed the places of interest in Perak..Besides, on the left top of the LCD tv, it showed the speed of the train..The fastest speed that the train achieved is 150km per hour..It is really fast!!

Furthermore, they have small cafeteria at coach C..There are 2 "train hostesses" serve us for the food and beverage..They sell Mee Cup, Bread, Mineral Water, Coffee and so on..What a good idea!! The price is quite reasonable also..

Around 9pm, we reached Ipoh..It really took 2 hours..I highly recommend it to my readers because it is worth for money..Nevertheless, RM30 is promotion price..They will adjust the price sooner..It is better to try it earlier..Hehe..

Yesterday Jimmy and I went to KL Times Square to have a one day trip by train..This is our first time to ride train from Ipoh to Kuala Lumpur..Frankly, we were quite excited..Hehe..I will post about our journey of train after..Hehe..

For our lunch, we went to Uncle Duck Restaurant which recommended by a boss of camera shop..The boss quite honest because he told us that the food is so so only if for those Ipoh-ian like both of us..Hehe..

When we entered the restaurant, there are quite many of visitors..Their service is quite slow..After went through the menu, I ordered Fish Ball Kuey Teow Soup set with a drink of Ice Lemon Tea (RM8.90)..Jimmy ordered a quarter of roaster duck (RM16), one plain rice (RM1) and one soup (RM1)..

For the food, they are really so so only..Personally, I felt that the price is quite reasonable..But, they have 10% of service charge which is the one that I dislike because their service is not worth for the 10% charge..

Wow, it is really long time I did not step into my cooking journey..Last Wednesday one of my friend came to my house to bake cheese cake..She gave me the remaining ingredients..I do not want to waste them so I decided to bake a White Chocolate Cheese Cake..

I have made White Chocolate Cheese Cake at my Cooking Journey Part 1 5 earlier..I get the recipe from one of my favorite recipe blog..Hehe..The procedure to make this cheese cake are simple and easy..

I have tried my homemade White Chocolate Cheese Cake..Personally, I like it very much..Hahaha..It is nice and tasty..The taste of cheese is "thick"..Comment from myself is not accurate..Thus, I will treat it to my lovely Jimmy and friends to gain different comments..Hehe..

I have tried my Neewer filter kit last Saturday..Thanks to Jimmy for teaching me how to use..Hehe..

Firstly, we tried Circular Polarizer Filter (CPL)..CPL removes unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass.From the two pictures below, we can clearly see that there is a reflection at D90 box at the first picture whereas the second picture does not have reflection at all..

After that, Jimmy showed me the difference between close-up filters with different Dioptre..From +1 to +10..The purpose of these filters are to decrease the minimum distance that a lens requires to focus.

Finally we tried Fluorescent filter..Fluorescent filter is used to correct the greenish tone that appears when fluorescent lighting is present..After attached the fluorescent filter, we can see that the skin's color of the kid is more orangery and reddish instead of greenish..

Yesterday Jimmy and I went to Daybreak Charity Food and Fun Fair at Pengkalan Ipoh..We bought the coupon from our colleague earlier..RM10 per book..We bought 5 books..One of our colleague did not attend this charity fair, he gave his book to Jimmy..Hehe..

Daybreak is an acronym for Disabled Adults and Youths Being Rewarded, Encouraged and Awarded in Kinta..They set out to help the disabled find a meaningful place in society by providing a training ground in specialized skills and a retail center for their handicrafts..For more information, please kindly visit DAYBREAK..

The Daybreak Charity Food and Fun Fair started at 9am..We arrived there around 9.15am..There are a lot of cars and people over there..We are so luckily to get a nice parking..Hehe..After that, we entered Daybreak..It was so lively..There are quite many stalls which sold different types of food and beverage..I heard that all the food and beverage stalls are the most famous in Ipoh..Hehe..Besides, there are few booths which provided games..

Suddenly, we were so surprise because we saw a Star Wars Storm Trooper appeared just a few miles away from us..Hehe..I was so excited and would like to take photo with him..Hehe..He walked around the place and many people took photos with him..After that, we walked into the hall to take a look about the training process..

Today just had a chat with my colleague about DSLR..Suddenly I recalled that I have missed out something in my blog..Hehe..Now I would like to show you all what I have missed out..:)

Last July, Jimmy bought me a Neewer Filter Kit through Amazon which included 7 pieces of 67mm filter with a reasonable price..Frankly, it is really worth and value for money!! They are 4 macro filters (+1, +2, +4 and +10), 1 UV filter, 1 fluorescent filter and 1 polarizing filter..There are 2 small hard cases to pack all these filters..One packed with 4 macro filters and the other one packed with the rest filters..

A macro filter/close-up filter is a filter that attaches onto the end of a camera lens via a screw thread. The purpose of the filter is to decrease the minimum distance that a lens requires to focus. Close-up filters are measured in Dioptre, with +2 being weak and +10 being strong. A dioptre is a measure of lens power. I get the information from HERE..

Genting Highlands 2D1N Relaxing Trip...

Last Saturday Jimmy and I went to Genting Highlands for a 2D1N relaxing trip..Hehe..Jimmy received a letter from Genting which stated that "Member Has Its Privileges"..The entitlements included 1 complimentary Deluxe room for 2 nights stay Resort/First World Hotel and complimentary meal for 2 pax at Fortune Corner/ Good Luck Restaurant..

Jimmy called them to book the Resort Hotel. However, we could not book for continuously 2 night as they have been fully booked..Finally we decided to stay 1 night..These vouchers can be used even during Peak and Super Peak Season..Hehe..

Early morning we had breakfast at Poh Chan Restaurant..Then we started our journey to Genting..Although it is Saturday and School Holiday, there are less cars along the highway..Hehe..How lucky we are!! When Jimmy's "White Horse" hiking up to Genting, I could feel that the force of impulse in it..When it overtook others car, it is totally different if compared to last time..Hehe..Sounds like I am pro..Frankly, I am not a pro about cars and yet I just inherited some gene from my dad..Hehe..

Finally we arrived at Genting, we checked in at Resort Hotel..Their service is very good if compared to First World..After that, we took a rest in hotel..Our room has a Outdoor Theme Park view..It is really nice!! Hehe..After rest, we hang out at Casino..It is my first time to play in Casino..Hehe..Quite excited..We took our early dinner at Good Luck Restaurant..I did not take any photos as Casino cannot bring camera..The food is nice and quite big portion for 1 person..It is worth to dine at here..

Then we went back to Hotel and rest..Around 8.00pm, we walked to First World Plaza to have a photoshoot session..:) This time Jimmy was the photographer and I am the model..Hahaha!!

There is a small "Chinatown" in First World Plaza..Besides, there are a lot of performances..Such as Magic Show, China Kung Fu, China "Yo-Yo", Malay Traditional Musical Performance and Break Dance..It is really a lively place..:)

After that, we took our supper at Marrybrown..We are quite tired thus we did not take any photos at Marrybrown..:) Just finished the meal and walked back to Hotel..At the lobby, we met Nicholas Teo..His fans club is taking pictures with him..Haha..We are so lucky..I took out my Panasonic Lumix Fs3 in 1 second time to take his photo..Hehe..

The next morning, we took our breakfast at Old Town Kopitiam..Their morning business is really good..I will not comment so much about their food..Just would like to talk about their teaspoon..They are franchise so they should use the same utensils..However, they are using plastic teaspoon instead of porcelain..It is not environment friendly at all..

After the breakfast, we went back to Ipoh..Hehe..Thanks for Jimmy to give me such a relaxing trip..For more photos, please visit abbie-graphy..:)

Early of the month, we went to Poon's Photo to look for external flash..However, the flash that we are seeking is out of stock for almost 2 months..Last week I called Mr.Poon and he told me that they have stock..I am quite excited..Hehe..

Today Jimmy and I went to Poon's Photo to look for the flash..It is Nissin Speedlite Di622..This flash is developed with the latest TTL (Through The Lens) flash control technology..It can work automatically with i-TTL auto-flash system..Besides, Di622 has a wireless remote flash system as a slave unit..Di622 synchronizes to TTL flash produced by the master flash which are either Camera's built-in flash, Di622 or camera manufacturers' original flash on the camera..

We have tired on the spot and we experienced the significant difference between an external flash and the built-in flash..We are quite satisfy with the result..Finally, we bough it with a reasonable price..:)

Last Wednesday Jimmy and I went to Aberdeen Cafe to have dinner..We went to this cafe many times but I did not write review about it so far..Hehe..This time I must review it and recommend to my readers (sounds like I have many readers)..Hehe..

When we entered the cafe, the friendly waiter brought us to a table and then gave us a menu..They provides set dinner which includes soup of the day, main course, drink and dessert..Jimmy ordered Chicken Chop with Black Pepper Sauce (RM11.80), Mushroom Soup and Ice Lemon Tea..I took Seafood Udon Soup (RM8.80), Ice Coffee and soup of the day..

After awhile, our meals were served swiftly..Personally, I felt that the food is quite special and nice..Besides, the food is quite big portion with a reasonable price..They are better than many places in terms of food and service..

They are collecting 5% service charge which I felt that quite reasonable..Furthermore, they are really meaning in service if compared to that of Boston Restaurant and Wong Kok Char Chan Teng..I would like to recommend this cafe to my readers..Hehe!!

Today Jimmy brought me to have a movie..Hehe..It had been awhile since our last movie which is "Wolfman"..We are early birds so we could buy cheaper tickets (RM8 per person)..We chose normal show of "The Last Airbender"..What is the meaning of "normal show"? Hehe..That's movie without 3D..For this movie, we felt that it is not worth if we take 3D show because the 3D effects are not powerful..:)

Then we walked to Wong Kok Char Chan Teng to have our lunch..Finally we visited this "infamous" place..Hehe..This restaurant provides Hong Kong famous cuisine..Nowadays, this kind of restaurants are famous in Malaysia..Just like Boston, Kim Gary and so on..

When we entered the restaurant, there is a waiter served us for the table which Boston does not have this kind of service..However, my friend's experience was bad during their visit at night time previously..I think maybe there is a lot of visitors at night time..They are lack of man power so they cannot cover thoroughly..In my opinion, that is not an excuse because as a franchise, the waiter or waitress should have experience enough to handle this kind of cases..

After the waiter wiped the table, we still felt uncomfortable as the table was wet..The waiter ignored it and he just put the menu on it..I felt that it is disgusting and I tried to wipe myself..Before we sit down, actually we saw the 2 tables beside us are dirty..After we ordered, the 2 tables still remain the same condition..Jimmy commented that they are really slow motion..Overall, the decoration of the restaurant is quite good and special..Both of us like it because it gave us a comfortable feel..Although it is noon time, we did not feel warm at all..The air flow is very good if compared to Boston..

After looked through the menu, Jimmy ordered Hong Kong Style Fried Spaghetti with Pork (RM9.50) and I took Mediterranean Style Curry Udon with Fish (RM10.90)..For the drinks, we ordered Hong Kong Coffee (RM2.80) and Silk Stockings Milk Tea (RM2.80)..The price of the food is a bit cheaper than Boston..Nevertheless, we felt that it is still expensive because those food have been commercialized by this kind of restaurants..

Our drinks were served first..The drinks are not fully filled (refer to the photo below)..Maybe it is "Hong Kong style"..The straw is quite "special" which is very thin..Then, our food served..The taste of Hong Kong Style Fried Spaghetti with Pork is quite salty...Jimmy could not accept it..For my Mediterranean Style Curry Udon with Fish, the soup is very green-yellowish..Totally different with local curry mee..

Overall, the taste of food is normal and yet acceptable..Hehe..After paid the bill, we did not check the bill and left..Luckily just few steps away from the restaurant, I went through the bill..They did not cancel one of our order which had sold out..The waiter just canceled our order manually and did not key into system..Thus the cashier counted it in our bill..We returned and told the cashier..She apologized and treated us politely..

This "infamous" place is collecting 10% service charge which is same as Boston..Again, we will only visit here once in a blue moon..Hehe..Personally, both of us more prefer Aberdeen than these 2 Hong Kong style restaurants..Aberdeen is far superior in terms of food and service if compared to these 2 restaurants..:)
